Excellent, but.

TT is as good as ever for 2013. Very easy to enter all information, particularly with automatic import of 2012 TT data. Hints and support are very helpful. Problem with e-filing rejection message (at last on a MAC) at the last step was resolved after some searching with the "have a question" responses by others to simply close TT and empty trash and try again. TT should fix this bug or provide instruction to avoid.
What's great about it: All as advertised--no problems entering all information from standard documents one gets from all sources of income.
What's not so great: Small problem in e filing with Mac --delay and frustration for a while
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I found this software to be well worth the investment. The questions asked helped me to go to the correct document. The questions also taught me what I will need for my 2014 return - a good learning experience for a start-up business owner .
What's great about it: User friendly
What's not so great: unable to chat via email and no phone number to get help

Turbo Tax Expedition

I like the way the program leads me step-by-step through the filing process. The easy questions, and complete review of each section, bring to mind everything that needs to be reported. In the end, I have confidence that I have accurately and completely reported my income and expenses.
What's great about it: The program is easy to use, specific questions, every detail covered completely.
What's not so great: Occasionally, there may be issues that the user does not know how to resolve--especially in the review process at end

Mostly Wonderful

Everything was mostly smooth sailing. When I hit a glitch in your system, it took a long time to get assistance. When I finally got Nicole on the line, she was GREAT. Thanks for hiring efficient and friendly help.
What's great about it: Step by step info is easy & non-stressful to follow
What's not so great: glitch in second state transfer of information
