I love Intuit products! I hate doing taxes and this program takes out all the guess work, is easy to use and quick. Second year I've used it and couldn't recommend it more. great product!
What's great about it: Quick, easy and idiot proof
What's not so great: None

Ten Years and Counting

I have relied on Turbo Tax for ten years. It has gotten progressively easier to use and I have not found any areas of difficulty. I have a Sole Proprietorship part-time business, IRAs for my wife and myself from which we withdraw funds each year, social security payments; all these are handled beautifully by the Turbo Tax assisted system. I believe someone with NO tax preparation experience could use this system, answer the questions as asked, plug in the requested information and get a professionally done return. And our son is a professional tax accountant!
What's great about it: Incredibly simple; plug and go!
What's not so great: None

Some information can be imported from large companies and organizations, but all info can be imported from previous year's return. I have been using it since about 1993.
What's great about it: Simple Way for self employed people to get their taxes done
What's not so great: I use to be able to do this with just tubotax deluxe

The Tax Man Cometh

I own a construction business and do my own taxes, this program has made it so easy why would I want to pay someone hundreds or even thousands, to do what this program allows me to do all in just a few hours. I use Quick books for my business and the interface with TurboTax makes doing taxes a breeze.
What's great about it: Great play by play features, really does well walking you through the maze of tax forms and requirements.
What's not so great: Can't really see the actual form entries your making

Turbo Tax review

I had to redo a number of entries and the original entries were not saved. So I found myself going back and forth several times.
You also force me to enter a US state, but I live in a foreign country. Not everyone who purchases your services live in the US.
What's great about it: Easy to use and does all the calculations for you. Does a good job of documenting and printing the returns
What's not so great: Sometimes complicated on the less common entries. Does not do a thorough job for US citizens residing in a foreign count
