Turbo Tax is a pretty good program

For the most part we would be lost without it. Would have to pay someone lots of money to get us through our taxes each year.
What's great about it: Very helpful
What's not so great: Some things hard to understand

2013 Turbo Tax Experience

Overall, a good experience! I have a real feeling of accomplishment having done our taxes on TT this year -- ESP this year, because we moved, had several changed situations, etc. I really enjoyed talking with the three helpers I talked to on the phone.
What's great about it: Found out I could get one:one help from live people on the phone! That was terrific!
What's not so great: Some of the interview questions were confusing and resulted in the creation of forms I did not need.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

I have been using Turbo Tax for 10 yrs+ and continue to be extremely pleased with quality and accuracy.
What's great about it: Ensures all the items are validated and accurate

I have used Turbo Tax almost since it first came out. Over the years the ease of use has become more difficult. However, you have improved and added more subjects and overall it is an excellent product.
What's great about it: In General a very good product. Has most of the answers readily available.
What's not so great: Some instructions are difficult to follow or cannot find the file referred to. Difficult to get back to a certain loca

Easy As Cake - Simple As Pie

I got a tad lost on the Cost Of Goods Sold section this year. Typically, it's fairly straight forward. Other than this, it went great as always. This is my 5th year using TurboTax.
What's great about it: Insuring all the various tax laws that apply to me have been looked at
What's not so great: It can be tricky getting to specific areas within actual pages of the income tax return

2013 turbotax home & business

Generally, the product is very good. I had to fill out 4 Sch C, 1-F, 1-SE, and had Education credits including a taxable portion of a scholarship in oder to qualify for the credit. It took some time, but it was worth it and TurboTax seemed to do a good job. It would be nice if I could open 2 federal forms (parent and dependent) at the same time in order to do some "what if" scenarios.
I didn't like getting charged a fee to submit the state form when it was advertised as free. I will have to call customer service to get a refund. =(

What's great about it: I don't have to go to a tax pro to do my taxes
What's not so great: with multiple businesses using F8829, the home operating expenses didn't fill correctly on form SE

Help no available

when I has a problem I tried to inlist what you refer to as help but I was not able to receive any information back. Finally I figured out to to correct it on my owjn. I will probably use Turbo next year but I have llike it better in years past.
What's great about it: OK
What's not so great: Difficult to ask questions

Very Specific Tax Prep!!

We have used Turbo Tax for years. We are very pleased with the details that are covered including how to make deductions work to our benefit - more deductions or less deductions. It is a great program.
What's great about it: Loved seeing tax due or refund on top line!
What's not so great: That we have to get into all this detail to keep our money.
