Turbo tax

Overall I have used turbo tax for the past 5 years or so, never a problem and makes bookeeping a breeze.
What's great about it: ease of use, remembers last years
What's not so great: some fields didnt carry over, Minor stuff

A Bit Confused

Had one place where the program was too confusing and could not bypass it. Also, not sure I entered royalties correctly because could be entered in two places. Not enough clarification on which place they should go.
What's great about it: It works through every possible means for saving money
What's not so great: Some categories are not clearly defined

Use of TurboTax for 2013 Taxes

I very much like the Turbo Tax and have used it since the 1990s. I do and will recommend it to others. Thank you for your support.
What's great about it: Very quick
What's not so great: Hard to find an answer unless you have the precise "key word".

It would be great if all downloaded numbers or boxes were shown in a some designated color....If the numbers don't look right, then I can't tell whether I or 'they' entered it. It's time consuming to locate and review the relevant documents.

What's great about it: Great results. :-)
What's not so great: BIG ZERO
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It made me do my Tennessee tax and I don't have to. also I don't think we should have to pay for state tax. when the package says they are free.

Taxes are the Pits

Was disappointed in not having an updated form A. Needed to add lots of extra sales tax amount to form and Turbo Tax said the form wouldn't be available until 12/31/2013. This is 3/24/2014! Would have been able to save myself some taxes if the form was available. Also, last years taxes couldn't be retrieved, possibly because saved as pdf, however, when finished forms this year, the only option for saving was in pdf. Hopefully I wont have the same problem next year.
What's great about it: easy to follow, comprehensive
What's not so great: lots of repetition

I USE THE HOME & BUSINESS TURBOTAX FOR A LONG TIME NOW. IT SO EASLY TO DO MY HOMEBASE BUSINESS TAXES WITH IT. I EVEN USE IT FOR DOING OTHER PEOPLES TAXES ON IT. BUT, THE ONLY THINK I DON'T LIKE IS THE 5 FEDERAL E-FILING. THERE SHOULD BE MORE FEDERAL E-FILING.
What's great about it: HELP section
What's not so great: 5 Federal e-files
