Made it all soooo easy!

This year, again, Turbo Tax took the headache out of the income tax filing. The only thing which would make this chore easier is an overhaul of the tax codes.
What's great about it: Guided me through all possible deductons
What's not so great: Can't find faults

Good But......

Working through TurboTax after several years, I generally like the product. The step-by-step questions go smoothly through the process. However, there were issues with non-resident DC filing where it said to print and mail, but actually that is not required -- in fact the TurboTax software did not create the DC form because it was not needed, but the instructions still said for me to print and file by mail.
Also, I have asked how do I print the page that I see on the screen? In working through several iterations of deductions, etc., I would like to print out some of the comparison pages that TurboTax shows on the computer screen, and I have to go through tedious screenshot-captures to do that. You should add a function to print the existing page to pdf or paper.
What's great about it: Walk through section questions are detailed and fairly good. Help Center has a lot of answers, but it is not timely.
What's not so great: Can not print the page I see while working on my return. Help answers not specific enough

Very impressed with this program, I have used other's but this one is always accurate

What's not so great: don't like the fact it doesn't give an option to prefill such as with w2

What's not so great: TAXES ARE OVERWHELMING ANYWAY

Found errors in transferring data from drafts to final. difficult to correct errors. depreciation handling in sales report refused to accept my numbers taken from my tax records. It insisted on using a calculated value instead that was roughly $15000 higher than the depreciation I accumulated. I changed it when asked, but when checking all the data, the program changed it back to the calculated value.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

The two representatives I was able to talk with were very helpful. The process is easy to navigate.
What's great about it: The assistance was personable, easier to find this year and due to my question they sent an Iowa Update & it worked.
What's not so great: The update should have had an explaination on how to use.

I would make the SEP-IRA area much easier to see and locate for those of us who are self-employed. Had to ask a lot of questions to figure it out.

Overall, good. Multi year user but had to replace my old computer which crashed. It seems like you did not know my past information or history.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and enter needed information, move back and forth through sections.
What's not so great: Hard to find explanations or help when something needed clarified.
