I have used Turbo Tax for about 7 years now, and I can not think of one single reason to even consider another option to file taxes.
What's great about it: The guided options make the complicated tax processes easy.
What's not so great: I can not think of a single con to list

Friendlier than ever

Previous years' Turbo Tax often left us uncertain as where we were in the process of entering information. Turbo Tax 2013 seemed better about this. It would ask questions that contained enough information to make it clear what was being asked, like (and this is not a direct quote) "Was the pension Tim collected from QBF Sign Co. from a qualified plan?" and then offer to explain what a qualified plan was so we know exactly what pension and how to judge whether it was qualified or not. Turbo Tax's explanation, by the way, is the first explanation of a "qualified" plan I have ever understood. There were a couple questions that could have been worded better: while working on Deductions and Credits, in the category Cars and Other Things You Own, it asked "Are you ready to enter your information?" But... what if we don't have any information to enter? Selecting NO was apparently the right thing to do in this case, as it took us to the next subject.
What's great about it: Questions contained key words that made it clear what was wanted.
What's not so great: A few questions were confusing.
