Makes it easy

I've been a TurboTax user for close to 20 years now. it makes filing our taxes easy and let's you choose if you need help, or if you just want to fill in the necessary IRA forms. You can switch back and forth between these modes so that you are working with your return in whichever way makes the most sense for the document/area you are currently working with.
What's great about it: year to year carry over of information
easy to follow and fill out forms. Interview helped in some new scenarios presented this year. When came time to print, sometimes had to print 3 or 4 times to get a legible copy without foreign language and strange symbols that did not make any sense.
What's great about it: easy to use and follow
What's not so great: some printing problems when time to print copies
It's bad enough that the U.S. has separate taxes for each state and that all are not integrated together, but Turbotax charges a lot in addition if one should be unfortunate enough to have to pay taxes to more than one state.
What's great about it: Integrated well
What's not so great: Too many additional fees at too high a price
I found the program to be a pleasant walk through on my taxes. Charges and updating of software to bigger and better was a little frustrating. By it once should get it all. Pressure to E-File was a little to much and the State was again an additional fee. Be up front and tell me on the box. Program ended without my knowing if and what to mail into the State? I guess I became number tired by the end of the program. Used Tax Cut last several years but Turbo handled the Schedule K better this year. Still confusing with royalties, losses and interpretation of what I received.
What's great about it: Step by Step Coverage
What's not so great: A little bit too much sales pressure Intuit Products.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
Every year since Intuit has been involved the quality and comfort for Users has declined. This year I really did not like Turbo Tax. After I got through I finally figured out how to navigate to print and save. I am questioning if I will use this next year. I cna't even get this review to go through.
What's great about it: explanations written well but minimal information
What's not so great: screen navigation, explanation, forms access, how to print
