good but a little confusing

When I wanted to go back to something, it was very hard to find the right screen and it would take me back to answering the original questions instead of showing me what I had already done. That was very annoying and confusing. When i was ready to submit electronically, it said it couldn't be done for some reason and I would have to do it by mail and pay by check. I wanted to go back and make sure the automatic withdrawal from my checking account I had filled out to pay my taxes was erased, but I couldn't get back to that screen. I finally called your service today to make sure about that and was told since it wasn't submitted, the payment would never go through. Hopefully, that is correct.
Another annoying problem is that when I close the documents and then want to open them later, sometimes I can't get to my return. I had to be really creative to reopen my records today. The file opened up empty at first and I had to search my computer to find it.
Finally, I would like to be able to save a PDF before I get to the print screen. It was not very obvious to me how to print my forms until I happened to see the PDF button on my print screen.
What's great about it: very easy to go through and answer questions
What's not so great: moving from section to section
At the very end where the state return info is added - there are a lot of update tabs. It would be easier to just link these and to say yes/no if there's a need to enter the data there or not instead of having to manually click each item and go through all of them that way.
What's great about it: Ease of use - orderly process
What's not so great: Some areas aren't as well set up as others as far as ease of data entry
I've used Turbo Tax for years. I tried one of those "other" Tax Softwares a few years ago and hated it so much I threw it away and bought Turbo Tax. The only negative experience i've ever had was with the 2013 Turbo Tax Home and Business. After loading the software on my Mac, the header said "Turbo Tax Deluxe". I uninstalled and re-installed the software with the same results. I returned to where I bought it and they exchanged it sighting a possible software issue. When I installed the new software guess what the header said ? "Turbo Tax Deluxe". Anyway, I started my taxes anyway hoping the software issue was simply the header. Nope, as soon as I started entering the business information Turbo Tax Deluxe recommended I upgrade to Turbo Tax Home and Business. So I did, and the remainder of my 2013 taxes went smoothly. Only issue I have is I had to pay for Turbo Tax Business at my local retailer, only to later have to pay for the Turbo Tax deluxe to Turbo Tax Home and Business upgrade.
What's great about it: Makes business taxes easy
What's not so great: 2013 software glitch
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
I love the way Turbo Tax walk you through each step and phase of the return. It's comforting to know I do not need to be a tax law expert. Additionally, it thinks of deductions and credit you otherwise might miss. But the absolute best feature it how it helps you think ahead to next year; additional tax options, affordable healthcare options, ways to maximize your tax responsibilities. Thanks Turbo Tax for making tax prep easy, fun and affordable.
What's great about it: Exceptionally easy to navigate each section and screen
There are lots of details to cover, but TurboTax provides thorough detail on what each item means and is very accurate knowing where to direct you. They are making these helpful features better with each release.
