W2s and W3s are very confusing!! Every year i have to figure how to do my w3 again. I took me a couple of very frustrating days to figure out that if I efiled my W2s, I didn't have to file the W3. My W2s went off fine, but I didn"t see anything to tell me I didn't have to file a W3. If it was there, I didn't see it. IRS is very guilty for making them so confusing and difficult!! Doesn't anybody else have this problem?
What's great about it: I can always go back and change entries
What's not so great: there were times I entered changes and it didn't seem to take

Clearly A Great Tax Aide

I have been a user since the middle 1980s and it has always been a winner. Other tax aids I have tried but I always found them lacking in comparison to Turbo Tax. I suppose I will always choose Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Ease of content flow without a lot of back and forth required.
What's not so great: There was nothing for me to dislike.

Leaves no stone unturned and does the heavy lifting for me.
I especially like the "real time" calculator that estimates the tax (or refund) impact every time I plug-in a number.

Even if you buy a TT package with a "free" state return, you're going to be charged to e-file the state return. This is ridiculous.
What's great about it: Relatively easy to do the return
What's not so great: Charges you additional $$$ to e-file your state return

Great program need to auto send next years or at least let us know we can get it ceeper next year because we used it this year. Should be some loyality discount on the product or give ua another state program for free if it is the 2nd or 3rd year useing turbo tax. Thank YOU.

Great Software!

I have an accounting degree and have been using Turbo Tax for a number of years and it simply gets better and better every year! I am very glad I am not in the business of producing personal tax returns because Turbo Tax is going to eliminate the individual return business in a few years!
If an individual has kept good records throughout the year and can follow a simple question - answer format there is no reason anyone can't do their own taxes.
Great Software, great support and great people on the phones!
What's great about it: Very intuitive and simple to use!
What's not so great: Oh, let's see it doesn't come with a bottle of wine!

Easy Peasey

I have used Turbo Tax for years and it just gets better. By staying with TT I am able to track my taxes easily for last few years. Also being able to bring forward all the personal info and the W2 issuer info saves so much time.; Love you guys
What's great about it: Loved being able to pull info from last years taxes so I don't have to fill out each year.
What's not so great: Paying extra to efile the state taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
