Confident with Turbo Tax

I feel more at ease when inputting information into Turbo Tax because they let me know whether or not it's an appropriate deduction without having to manually do all the worksheets.
What's great about it: Ease of Input - so Organized and Systematic
What's not so great: Waiting on our gov't to produce the correct forms. :(

Directions can be confusing at times. I may use again but think I will try something else next year. Sometimes you need a person to help and not a bunch of comments.
What's great about it: You can do more than one return
What's not so great: Getting help is hard
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I Have a Child!!!

Because i have a child it would not let me file a month ago like i wanted to until certain updates were available. However its easy to fill out all the paper work just easy and the fact that i can submit it electronically makes it great to use
What's great about it: Fast, Easy.
What's not so great: Updates aren't on time. Very frustrating if you are not computer savy

Some problems found

Generally good, but I always run into snags that I think are wrong or are not explained well, especially with the states. Kept wanting me to correct a form that was not even part of my state return.
Will probably keep using as I am used to the format.

What's great about it: Generally easy, federal much better than states
What's not so great: Would have been nice to know that I should have done the nonresident state first.

Needs nore clarifying information on 1099 and investment taxes . . . should provide more details (like the old versions) on tax audit liklihood and comparison of like income filings.

Quick and easy

Mostly, this software is idiot-proof, and that's good for me. The import of past years info is time-saving and extremely helpful for comparison purposes. The automatic calculations are obviously my favorite thing--I am math-phobic!!!
What's great about it: Explanations of questions you may not be sure how to answer and simplified instructions
What's not so great: Doesn't always explain clearly and sometimes omits a description
