My First Time Using Turbotax GREAT!!!

This was my first time preparing my own taxes and using Turbotax to do it. I was able to get assistance from Bethany on Sunday, 3/16. She was great, very patient and helpful. She didn't try to rush me at all. I am very big on great customer service and Bethany provided it. She took great pride in her job and I really appreciated that; especially on a Sunday. I wish I could get assistance from someone like Bethany all of the time when I call anyplace for Customer Service. Thanks Bethany for all of your help.
What's great about it: User Friendly at the beginning until you go to save the document and have to go back and make changes or review it.
What's not so great: When you have to go back in to complete filing your return; it is a bit confusing as to how to do it.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Taxes made simple

Overall I had a great experience with Turbotax, I wouldn't choose any other tax software to process my tax returns. I trust that Turbotax stands by it product for complete accuracy when processing tax returns.
What's great about it: error check
What's not so great: more of an explanation for small business owners for certain items

Easy, Fast and Effective

I've used TurboTax for my taxes for the last 10+ years - from the most basic, just out of school taxes, to after we bought a home, to when I ran my own business, to now when my tax situation is simpler again.
Always walked me thorugh the process, step by step, asking easy to understand questions. I always felt confident that my taxes were correct.
Alot of the maximizing refunds falls to the taxpayer, though - you have to know what can and can't be deducted, and keep your own records - TurboTax can't do that for you - but if you know to keep mileage records for vehicle use, all of your job related expenses, and deductions for contributions to Goodwill or other charities, it will make a HUGE difference in your final tax bill.
Educate yourself on what you can and can't deduct, and TuboTax will make sure you get your biggest refund..
What's great about it: Wlks you through complex tax issues step by step - no accounting experience necessary
What's not so great: None that I've found

Overall, a wonderful product, one that I don't hesitate using. Very comfortable with the outcome.
What's great about it: Easy to use, very user friendly.

Not as good as previous years

Wouldn't e-file. Says wouldn't validate because there was an update, but check for updates says I have the latest version. Had to print and mail the return.
What's great about it: It's thorough
What's not so great: Continue from where I left off DOESN'T

TURBO TAX WAS EASY TO FOLLOW IN EVERY SECTION. IT TOOK LESS TIME THAN THE USUAL GATHERING OF INFORMATION TO TAKE TO THE CPA.
What's great about it: EASY TO UNDERSTAND AND MAKE ADJUSTMENTS IF NECESSARY.
