You had me till the end

I like to efile fed and print state. This should be easy to do, but instead turbotax makes the choice both efile or both print. Also I like to review everything before I file anything, and resent the difficulty in seeing the review before making filing choices.
What's great about it: Very helpful in going through all the steps
What's not so great: filing of fed and state should be able to be done separately

I have been using Turbo tax for many years. Usually I will hit a snag along the way that becomes difficult to work out.

Excellent tool with a few glitches

I have used Turbotax for over 10 years. Overall I think it is an excellent product. When I have had problems they are either in the transfer of data to a state return (I always file two states) or in the Allocation and Apportionment process. Allocation and Apportionment is complicated and seems to be different for each state.
Sometimes the federal Schedule C information is not transferred to the appropriate state. Since you clearly indicate on Schedule C the state, I am not sure why this happens. It is usually easy to type it in but you need to check. I think an enhancement to the interview process would be the option to see what data has been transferred from Federal to State immediately after you start working on the state.
Related to Allocation and Apportionment, this year I had a problem with NM Line 8 of Apportionment when there is a business loss (which causes a negative number). I have discussed this with Turbotax technical support. They have said a fix will soon appear. I did not have this problem in past years.
What's great about it: Interview process, all forms present, transferring data and calculating
What's not so great: Data transfer to state(s) not always complete

Many new forms to file as wife retired and we started a LLC. All went very smoothly.
What's great about it: Through and easy to follow
What's not so great: No cons noted
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

It's So Easy

Turbo Tax makes filing taxes a painless experience. It's worth every cent you spend for the program. It provides help with areas you don't understand by giving immediate explanations and examples. Need to save for the future, they can help. Don't have health insurance, they can guide you. Full speed ahead Turbo!
What's great about it: Helped me get everything my son was entitled to. It was quick, easy, and satisfying.
What's not so great: Can't think of anything negative.
