Reliable and easy to use

Have used TurboTax for over 10 years. Saves me hours of work at tax time, because it remembers the "carry-forward" losses and other year-to-year data items. I would never be able to calculate the AMT without TurboTax.
What's great about it: intuitive, comprehensive, easy to use, reliable
What's not so great: When you revisit a dividend page, it doesn't remember that you calculated the part that was exempt from federal taxes

Easy for dummies

I liked the ease and speed of filing this way. Had a little trouble because I didn't have the correct edition of Adobe, but when I got it downloaded, easy to print my copies.
What's great about it: Did not have to think too much
What's not so great: Could have thought for me

Better than ever!

Turbo Tax gets better every year. I'm amazed at how easy it is to do my taxes this days. I like how it easily guides me through all the credits and deductions. I would not use any other program to file my taxes.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: Easy to follow directions

I'm finished with a rather complicated before April 15th; that says a lot. Each year I am better organized and prepared because I know what Turbo Tax is looking for. It's Deductible helps tremendously to get me really prepared to save money by house cleaning and getting tax value for the unwanted but good for someone else items. I recommend Turbo Tax to my friends who pay someone else too much money to prepare their taxes ... because, guess what, they know the answers to the questions that the paid preparer asks, so if Turbo Tax asks the questions and they give the same answers ... they save money.
What's great about it: There is a place for everything! It just "asks" and you answer, it's done!
What's not so great: Sometimes it is a little confusing and the help is more confusing. Experience helps with that though!

I love Turbo Tax

I love the way that the program walks you through all the categories - making it less likely to forget something in your entries. I have used Turbo Tax for years and years. So many of the fields populate from prior years saving a ton of time. I have never had one problem using Turbo Tax and will continue to use it year over year.
What's great about it: Calculations are so complete and trustworthy.
What's not so great: None

Intuit products are not compatible

I have invested a good deal of money and time into Intuit products and for them to be incompatible was very frustrating when the time came to do my taxes. Not only can you not import data from the Quickbooks Pro Construction Software for Mac into Turbotax Home Business, but the tax categories between the two were not consistent. I had to spend a great deal of time re-catorgarizing data and manually entering it. If it wasn't for the fact that the actual process was simple after all of the data manipulation was complete, I would have given it 0 stars.
What's great about it: Takes you clearly through each step.
What's not so great: You cannot import info from quickbooks into Turbotax.
