Disapointed

Program would not import my Quick Books data. This is very frustrating and could not get any help from intuit. Will use different software next year is this problem is not resolved.

Need more hot links within the question screens.

Great product. It would be nice to have a hot link within the step by step screen that would automatically bring you to the tax form row that needs to be filled in. This is especially important in the tax review phase when there are errors and you have to figure out where the blank is that is causing an error.
What's great about it: The transfer of data from previous years
What's not so great: A lot of tax terminology in the step by step questions were confusing.

Best product ever

Turbo Tax and quite simple to use and should be a must for majority of US taxpayers. By self-completing each section, it serves as an educational tool and a forecasting benefit. It provides valuable information on the ways that financial decisions impact tax obligations.
What's great about it: Line of questioning
What's not so great: Browser back button not helpful

You don't have to know all of ins and outs of tax codes. Turbo Tax walks you through the process. Seems to do a good job of maximizing returns. Provides drop down explanations of needed information if you are not sure of what to enter.
What's great about it: I found it very user friendly. Helpful in maximizing returns.

No headaches

As a retired family we have returns that are way too complicated to do without Turbo tax to guide us through the end result. We do it ourselves and have a CPA friend check it out each year. We passed the test again this year....only one item to check to save some tax money...but not Turbo taxes problem.
