I have been using Turbo Tax for years and it is excellent.

1099's should be able to be accessed easy from the start, It doesn't make sense to have to start the tax return before getting to the 1099's, when the 1099's are due much earlier in the year

TurboTax has improved year after year. This year's was pretty clear and concise. It sometimes fills in numbers based on tax formulas that I can't seem to figure out. But in general, a user-friendly product.
What's great about it: Interview style
What's not so great: Auto fill-in of some numbers
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

If I want to file my state return by snail mail YOU DO NOT MAKE IT EASY TO Print the state return
Also on Charity entries where you assign values to items you have all these categories at arriving at the value of household goods like replacement value, etc, and there is no place to enter
cost of the goods to make the item. My wife crochets blankets for baby's and wheel-chaired Vets and all she wants to claim is the cost of the yarn needed to make them. It fits nowhere in the choices.

This program took the mystery out of taxes! Walked me through every step and even made me go back if I left something off.
Very user friendly!
