good program

retirement contributions start with how much you want to contribute prior to knowing what the max contribution can be
What's great about it: ease of use except for two areas
What's not so great: instructions for retirement contributions, no button to start printing the return

Ok but does not work with wireless access

I did not like the fact that the program has problems with wireless access. Even access that is excellent for everything else. I was frustrated by this numerous times while completing my return since the program accesses the web for certain parts of the program.... ugh!!!! I am a loyal Turbo Tax user but this has been a nightmare!!
What's great about it: Very through covers deductions that you may not know about
What's not so great: Would not work with wireless access!!! Very Frustrating!!!

The section on scholarships & education was not clear and not easy to navigate. I received grants but did not get a 1098T from the University. It added to his overall income incorrectly. Then I had to go back and correct. After much back and forth I was able to get everything correctl accounted for.
What's great about it: LOGICAL AS USUAL
What's not so great: THE PART ABOUT SCHOLARSHIPS & EDUCATION WAS NOT CLEAR

Great product...year after year!!

I have used Turbo Tax for several decades and would not use any other tax software. It's the complete package: easy to read, easy to load your numbers, and the output of the Fed and state returns reflect an efficient and comprehensive handling of all the data. What a great product!!
What's great about it: Easy to read, easy to load the data, and totally complete in processing and reporting the data.
What's not so great: None.

Easy, Quick, Done!

Awesome experience! I love using TurboTax, this is my 3rd year and I couldn't do it without them! I have a small buisness and they make filing my taxes so easy!! Thanks TurboTax :)

Consistent for years

We have used Turbo tax for years. It has been especially helpful with self-employment and home business taxes. At times the launguage is confusing and I have found it difficult to get back to where I left off. Still, we are satisfied customers.
What's great about it: covers self-employment/Home business
What's not so great: doesn't always walk through easily, hard to get back to where you left off

Amazing Customer Service

I sat for hours trying to see if I had enough deductions to get a higher tax refund, sadly I didn't qualify. But I did however have a 1099-MISC for which was something new for me and the free edition didn't cover my situation. My customer service rep that I was chatting with online helped me for about 40 minutes to resolve the situation and get my forms filed for me. They will go above and beyond to help each and every one of their customers. I highly recommend using TurboTax to file online rather than paying a tax rep in person, especially if you only have w-2's and misc forms.
What's great about it: Time taken to help
What's not so great: Free Edition didn't cover my situation.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Have been using Turbo Tax for the past few years for doing my taxes, and absolutely love the step-by-step guidance it provides. Taxes just can't get easier than this.
