Education Expenses dont' calculate correctly

Does not appear to properly calculate for 529 QTP when recipient of distribution uses funds to pay for the beneficiary of the QTP. It keeps counting it as income when that is not correct.

I love the changes made this year. I have been using Turbo Tax for a really long time - since the late 1980's. Really can't see a reason to stop using it to complete my annual tax return.
What's great about it: It seems to get easier every year
What's not so great: No matter how easy to complete, is still time consuming

This is what my tax accountant used, and she didn't remind me of the deductions that I could have taken...
What's great about it: I liked that it reminded me of deductions that I could take
What's not so great: Took me a few minutes to navigate through the system to find what I was looking for

It sure makes it easier to file, especially after the first time because it finds all the old data needed for the current year.
I really don't see the advantage of a tax preparer as you still have to collect all this years data, and with the ability to collect data from various sources electronically, it is even easier. It also makes electronic filing a snap.

What's not so great: Some times hard to get to where I wanted to go.

Overcame Mac glitch

Rebooted the Mac and it worked!
What's great about it: Efficient, easy to navigate
What's not so great: Several eFile attempts failed, even tho updates were done.

Frustrating with those Royalties and extra incomes, more that ever. have uses Turbo tax for yrs but this yr there was an issue.
What's great about it: good instructions
What's not so great: wanted to file my Royalties twice. Again and Again!
