Good but can definitely use improvements

Turbo Tax doesn't remember my answers even though I have answered them before and keeps asking me the same questions. Also, the questions are pretty cumbersome to answer again and again when I just want to go straight to my business, income or deductions main page - why do I have to go thru the wizard to answer the same questions "again"?
To improve:
1. Make Turbo Tax remember my answers.
2. Don't ask me the same questions again and again even if TT does remember the answer. Give me the option to go straight to my section or to answer the questions again if I choose to.

Making this improvement will make me fill out and re-review my taxes much much faster. This improvement will let me do and file my taxes atleast 30% faster.

What's great about it: Calculates automatically and guides you with deductions
What's not so great: Doesn't remember my answers, the questions wizard keeps coming up

Overall, this software is one of the easiest comprehensive packages available.
What's great about it: Easy for standard returns
What's not so great: difficult to capture prior year rental property depreciation due to changed IRS codes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Very Good Except for K-1

I've used Turbo Tax for a very long time and I like it very much. The one thing I have problem with is filing K-1s. A number of boxes (e.g. box 11, code A & F, and Box 13 code W.) don't give enough explanation. I spent hours trying to figure out what to do and never did. The system asks for more data but the publicly traded partnership told me there's no more detail to give.
What's great about it: intuitive
What's not so great: K-1 needs to be beefed up

Turbo-tax is quite helpful and I recommend its use.
It makes sure you cover all forms and schedules needed for your situation. Questions make sure nothing is missed and of course the "arithmetic" is correct.

If you can READ, then ANSWER the simple questions, then click your mouse to move to the next step, you will never need someone else to help you with filing your tax return again!!

Turbotax user for 15 years

I have used TurboTax every year for the last 15 years, or more ever since it was running under PC-DOS. It has gotten better and better, easier to use every year. I have been able to answer questions from the IRS on certain items I used for deductions, because I knew exactly where these items were filled in. So far I never had to go to an IRS audit.
I had used a Tax accountant before using TurboTax and I would have to provide the same information to the accountant I can now fill in the TurboTax questionnaire - the difference is, now I can find out where this information is used. TurboTax has been a huge help for me all these years.
