Gets me more $$$$

I have used TurboTax for several years now. I like the fact that if I continue to use it, it will automatically get info from my previous return & insert it for me. That saves me some time searching! Also, the questions are very easy to answer- it leads you by the hand for only the questions that apply to your situation.
I recommend TurboTax to all my friends & tell them it is an excellent and professional program. Tax professionals use very similar programs if not the same.
I have paid the high price of a tax professional and felt they rushed me, and missed certain deductions that I would have taken if I had taken my own time to work on it.
Turbotax is the best!!!

Excellent Tax Prep Program

Been a Turbo Tax user for years. Love the program and it helps me do not only my own, but my families as well.

Parts were unclear

The only thing I had a problem with was where to enter other income not reported on 1099misc I first put it in the same section where I entered my 1099misc in error check it showed another place to enter that amount, form was 'other income' so I entered it again which made my tax owed go way up. I think you could explain this section more clearly, like don't enter other income here. Have used Turbo Tax for over 15years and never had this problem.

If you have a small side business, this is an excellent tool for maximizing your return.

Needs Tweeking

I am a federal retiree and received a 1099-R and do not receive a W-2. It was a little confusing because I thought I was suppose to put the info in the W-2 section. The 1099-R input for retirees needs to be an option if don't have a W-2. Retirement input is too far back and embeded in the personal section. Needs to be upfront.
