2013 Form 1040-ES

I would like the ability to manually fill in the quarterly estimated payments for the individual vouchers, especially when my income is not expected to be even each quarter.
What's great about it: Seeing the options available in TurboTax
What's not so great: Inability to create another options

Fast and Easy

I've used Mac n Tax and Turbo Tax for at least 20 years and it's always been a fast and easy way to prepare our accurate federal and state returns. I wouldn't even bother trying any other tax preparation program or service! Keep up the good work Intuit!

could not correct errors that TurboTax flagged because the updated version was not automatically done after i started my returns and could not find out how to to update the version for my MacBook Pro computer
What's great about it: EasyGuide makes it fairly simple to use
What's not so great: updated version was not available when I started my return and TurboTax did not automatically update the version
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Tax Preparation Virgin

I can safely say Turbo Tax is the easiest and potentially the safest tax preparation software I've tried. It also is substantially cheaper than paying a CPA for tax services that you can fill out yourself. I would definitely recommend this software for anyone who has an easy to moderate tax return.
What's great about it: Extremely detailed and easy to use with questions guiding you through each step of the entire process.
What's not so great: Could use additional examples of deductions or credits when clicking on the "what is this".
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Got the done

I use Turbo TAX Home and business I have used about 5 years now and have had no issues when I used an accountant I was basically asked the same questions but not quite as many. Over all I trust Turbo tax to get my taxes done right
What's great about it: Easy to use, Complete, Asks the right questions
What's not so great: can't file State for free

The statement about efiling being free is a little misleading when it comes to the state tax form. But still, this is excellent software...
What's great about it: Ease of doing my taxes from home.
What's not so great: 1099 forms were not as easy to understand. (Retirement, Annuities)

It was easy to use, but if you don't have microsoft or apple systems you can't run it.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: Doesn't run on top of Linux
