this version of turbo tax does not let me save the tax file in the folder I choose in various back up thumb drives etc. It only saves to the folder where the tax file was opened from.
I have to get out of turbotax in order to copy the tax files and move them to other folders and drives.
What's not so great: The home and business version this year does not let me save my tax file in the folders I choose.

I hate doing taxes -- but I love TurboTax!

I've used TurboTax since 1995 (18 years), and it continues to be the best tax preparation software available. I just wish it was a little less expensive.
With my wife's home business, we would have had to hire an accountant to do her books and taxes, if we hadn't used QuickBooks and TurboTax all of these years.
I hate bookkeeping and tax preparation. And, while these back-office portions of her business still aren't fun, Intuit has at least made these tasks easier, faster and more accurate.
I highly recommend TurboTax and QuickBooks for all small, home-based businesses.
What's great about it: Annual updates don't drastically alter screens & functions, so you don't have to learn new software every year.
What's not so great: TurboTax is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. It must be worth it; because I keep buying it every year.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I love this stuff

I have used TurboTax for a few years now and am always pleased with how easy it is to use. For years I had a CPA do my taxes because I have my own consulting business. I sure don't need one with this software.
What's great about it: Takes me through everything and I can start and stop when I want.
What's not so great: Too much selling of other products

Great but have some suggestions

I have been using TT for 10 years, very happy with it. Suggestion: Completing 2013 it did not remind me take deductions that I missed from the previous year. Maybe my bad, but don't remember getting a prompts or reminders when going through the process. A great feature that needs to be available for all of us.
Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: Step by Step guidance, multiple free eFile, populates info from previous year.
What's not so great: None

Turbo Tax 2014

My only complaint is the inability to use Linux operating system with Turbo Tax. Please develop your Turbo Tax program to work with Linux. Thank you!

Un-corrected Error

Ability to do a joint return for Pennsylvania when there is a deceased tax payer ( or spouse ) is unacceptable. Reported months ago and no update. Your what new even highlights the change for 2013, but program stops at state.

Getting a piece of my BILLION

Easy process, helpful walk through, community question wasn't answered fast enough to utilize answers.
What's great about it: Walk through process
What's not so great: I don't have 100% confident feeling that I captured everything
