Outstanding Software

TurboTax keeps getting more user friendly despite the Fed trying to make the process evermore complicated
What's great about it: Easy to navigate and prompts cover most all of my needs
What's not so great: Don't have a single complaint

Only one problem this year

I wasn't sure why I had to indicate that I used each home I lived in during 2014 for the business usage percentage as 50% when I actually used each house 100% for business. I guess the question doesn't really make sense to me. I called Turbotax and was told to put 50% for each house as it was close (5 mos in one house and 7 months in the other). I think this issue needs to be worked on by Turbotax to make it more understandable.
What's great about it: Easy step by step process
What's not so great: Business percentage of home when home office moved during the year unclear.

TurboTax Rocks!

I had a very pleasant experience with TurboTax this year because of the wonderful customer service staff. I was helped with downloading the right software by a very professional, knowledgeable and efficient member of your technical support team. My questions were answered very promptly and accurately and I am well pleased with the results.
What's great about it: I love your Customer Service team because they're patient and very professional.
What's not so great: There were no dislikes in my opinion.

Making the difficult easy

I once did my retun by hand, including two small businesses, but TurboTax makes the process so much easier and more complete.
What's great about it: Did a good job with two small businesses
What's not so great: could include a more detailed year by year comparison

Faithful User

I dislike doing taxes myself. I dislike taxes even more if I ever choose to have a professional do my taxes for me. Operating a small business is a hassle in many ways when I have to deal with everything myself. At least I can call a tax adviser who can answer my questions when I have them.
What's great about it: user friendly software
What's not so great: can be difficult going back to a specific area
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Solid Experience

Sometimes it is difficult to understand where certain data goes, such as HOA expenses. Sometimes the system ask for it and other times it was never mentioned.
What's great about it: ease of data entry
What's not so great: sometimes you have to guess where to put the info

Overall great user experience! Would like to see a bit more error correction instruction on over lint numbers submitted into retirement contribution fields.
What's great about it: easy to use and intuitive
What's not so great: not enough error messaging on retirement contributions

Easiest and most affordable way to do your taxes!

I've been using TurboTax for over a decade and plan to continue using it into the foreseeable future. During the 10 year period, I was audited only once by the IRS. I represented myself and the audit went smoothly. I have nothing but great things to say about Turbo Tax! :)
What's great about it: convenience, cost
What's not so great: Can't eFile Florida Return
