Excellent, as always

I have used TurboTax for my personal and corporate taxes for over 10 years. I wouldn't do it any other way.
What's great about it: Comprehensive, even for complicated returns
What's not so great: Pop-up information could be more detailed or have overview and detailed versions

Easiest taxes done in years - many years.

Took about a week instead of several weeks. Many input forms were able to be downloaded directly from employers and/or banks. Many items were automatically filled in on different forms. Some issues I thought I had, were just that I didn't understand what the IRS required. Turbo Tax did. I found a systemic error/omission in a 1099. The issuing institution will likely change their process. Turbo Tax had the answer of what to do about it. For me, it is worth the cost.
What's great about it: Nice imports. Questions answered in FAQs.
What's not so great: Highest tier did not do lower types of returns - bad idea.

Value of help

I was lost and having trouble inputting correct data that had changed since last year. It was extremely difficult and frustrating. The help in the program and on line did not solve the problem. I called and was assisted twice by two very helpful people. Both of them stayed with me on the phone until my problems were solved. One took several hours to resolve. It involved changing the data on the K-1 from an LLC that changed since last year. I could not make the change necessary to be accurate and it took your representative over two hours to get it done. Suggestion? Link to data carried forward from prior years so it can be changed readily.
What's great about it: Very comprehensive
What's not so great: Some inputs are too rigid and cannot be linked to where to change information

Home & Business version for the first time

Lots of errors in the program when transferring data from info. / worksheets to the tax forms. I had to overide every form to correct them and then ensure that the tax forms were correct. I will NOT use TTax H&B again.
What's great about it: Have used TT for ever, know how to go through it
What's not so great: Lots of errors in the program, very difficult to input a land

Makes a tough task easier

Overall an excellent product, and I've been using it for years. I love how it guides through the process, but I do wish there were an easier way to jump around in it more directly when using step-by-step.
What's great about it: Walk-through of the process
What's not so great: sometimes difficult to find your way back to a place to work

WOW!!! I was extremely impressed by Kenisha's knowledge, she was such a gentle person.. very kind to me.. as I repeated myself.. and sometimes interrupted..
I have never done screen share before.. no one had ever offered me that option.. it made it easier for her to see what I was doing..
I became scared to file because of the audit as I do not make alot in pet care and I was at high risk because of my expenses.. she had reassured me..
Please make this review part of her permanent employment file, and make sure she does get and award for exceptional service.

TurboTax has Matured!

the only glitch was that the program suggested I should download a Pennsylvania return as well as New Jersey because my wife works in Pennsylvania. But the NJ-PA compact provides she is only taxed in New Jersey and it is New Jersey tax that is withheld from her pay.
What's great about it: I have a fairly complicated tax situation and finally this year I did not have to spend hours making adjustments.
What's not so great: None this year.
