Overall, excellent. It's a wonderful product and I saved $165 by using it. Thank you so much.
What's great about it: You walked me through it step by step and the tone was comforting.
What's not so great: It wouldn't allow me to send the exile even though I updated.

Over all a great product.
What's great about it: The tax returns are easy to work through
What's not so great: Sometimes you have to back track of the return to make sure you did not forget a section
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent experience!

This was the first time I used turbotax since my husband started a business (we had someone else prepare our taxes in the past). I was a bit nervous before I started because I didn't want to miss all the expenses for the business. Turbotax did a great job of catching all the business related expenses, even the ones we didn't know we could deduct. When I was confused, I was able to use their help section to get my answers. Purchasing TurboTax cost less than what we paid a professional previously, and we were able to deduct more than we did in the past because it asked a lot of questions to see if we had expenses that can be deducted. The steps were easy to follow, and I was able to do it by mylself for the most part ( just had to ask someone a few clarifying questions). I also liked that I was able to flag the parts so I could go back later to finish up.
What's great about it: easy to follow steps, examples in each category to avoid filling out in wrong places
What's not so great: none

I was occasionally confused

There were times when I was fairly sure information was being processed incorrectly... probably because the information as given to me was incorrect. I had some rental property income that seemed miscategorized and I wish there was a way to find out what TurboTax did with those numbers to better evaluate whether I needed to get it fixed.
I wish there were a way to add a number to a form without having to figure out what I needed to tell TurboTax to get it to put the number there.
Sometimes when I entered a number in a wrong box, and changed the box back to blank, it seemed like the changes were not undone (the running tax due numbers did not change back). This was disconcerting.
But I'd never go back to filling out my taxes by hand. TurboTax makes it so much easier!
While here, the survey below is tricky. I'm married, separated, and living with a partner. So what answer do I put down. My partner owns the house I live in rent-free. My wife lives in a house we jointly own. I have kids but they are grown. Life can be more complex than your multiple choice answers.
What's great about it: Enter the contents from forms and it figures out where the numbers go.
What's not so great: Sometimes I'd correct something an not be confident TurboTax did the correction.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

As painless as filing your taxes can be

I've used TurboTax for years and I find it fairly routine now. If we used software to track our expenses (like Quicken) we probably could identify whether or not we should deduct medical expenses, etc. Still, considering that I am an independent contractor, it goes relatively fast. I figure about 4 hours.
What's great about it: Does a good job of walking you through complex issues

More support for specialized forms would be appreciated. e.g. hyperlink or guidance to IRS and/or Treasury websites on Form 3520, 8938, and FinCEN Form 114
What's great about it: Fast and Accurate calculation
What's not so great: link between parent and child with unearned income is weak, you have to do it manually
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Habitual procrastinator. This product saved me a lot of hassle with a tax professional.
What's great about it: Quick transitions through screens
What's not so great: Business 1099 and individual 1099 questions overlapped and caused confusion
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved
