Worked well

over all good product and will use again.
What's great about it: fast and easy mostly
What's not so great: Had trouble finding some of my usual busness duduction

Great tax software product

I have been TurboTax for 20 years. Intuit makes great software products by implementing users suggestions into their products. The 2014 version of the software is good but might let an inexperienced taxpayer overlook the opportunity to reduce his or her income tax liabilities by not actively presenting the options of making a contribution to an IRA account.
What's great about it: Comprehensive and easy to understand interview questions.
What's not so great: Lack of What If tools.

Keeps Getting Better

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. I am self employed and my taxes are a little complicated. This years return preparation was the smoothest I have experienced with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Simple
What's not so great: None Really

Nice program, not perfect. Couldn't get it to print until I had filed it.
What's not so great: if you make one little mistake by checking an incorrect box you have to start over to find it.

The computer version of TurboTax is outstanding.

What's not so great: The last few issues of TT Premiere were harder to return to previous forms

The filing process is a pain. Found it difficult to make some corrections. 2013 version not as good as some previous years.
What's great about it: Switching Between Forms & Step-By-Step
What's not so great: No Step-By-Step for Schedule C

Unable to process PA forms

second year that turbo tax was unable to e-file PA state returns. Rejected for address issue that was unable to be corrected. Still charged for e-file even though it was turbo taxes program that obviously caused the problem. Turbo tax also failed to move data from Ferderal to State forms. Everything had to be enttered manually! Second year in a row; not sure if i'll be back next year!
