What's great about it: ease of use...thinks of everything
What's not so great: recd outdated cdrom at retail store this year...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Maybe the Poorest Turbo Tax in Years

I found TT Home & Business to be far more difficult to negotiate than in past TT products. Most of the time the "we will lead you through" approach was a farce. It just added extra steps to taking you to "enter it yourself" pages. The product area I used to input Farm Rental Income changed from last year. (you could have put a note on page to that effect). The area that I needed to input 1099G information kept taking me to the wrong form. I had to "force" TT to the correct area. Lastly, there are some tax reductions or write-downs for CRP $$ if you are on Social Security. TT didn't have a clue and completely skipped this write-off.
On the whole - I didn't have as much faith in TT knowing what it was doing as I have in the past. I spent many long hours researching the correct way to enter some items on IRS web site.
What's great about it: It seemed to add correctly.
What's not so great: Software doesn't know all tax law.

Turbo Tax Home & Business software worked great! The only thing I would change is a little more explanation and details on examples as to certain tax questions. It's hard to list all things that are exempt and nonexempt, but it would help. Other than that I was well pleased with simplicity of most of the Turbo Tax software. It's good knowing next year tax returns will go smooth with Turbo Tax.

very good; minor problems

This is the best tax software I have used.
There are two minor errors I encountered:
third quarter estimated taxes payment area does not allow an entry;
a mysterious "asset type" for depreciation is required in review.

The application is awesome, everything is great. The only thing I donot like is having to ask a question to the community.
I would much more prefer to talk to an individual so it can be right at the same time and not having to wait.

What's great about it: This application is very simple and with great assistance while filling out the forms and transfering from Feds to State
What's not so great: would like to have answer from an individual rather thanthe community

Easy to use

Found the software simple to use. Following the guidance is easy. I do wish that a CONTINUE tab was available at the top of the page after completing each section without having to scroll to the bottom of the page.

Had all kinds of problems with state return and I didn't know that Turbo Tax does not monitor their community chat rooms. I finally had to call to get this software glitch fixed. The lady who helped was very pleasant and followed through with the problem.
