gets better every year

TT Home & Biz is quite a good program for the money. There are a few awkwardnesses - one should be able to specify each form of state tax that is paid and deducted. Some things are hard to find - captal loss.
Other things should be available w/o going through interview and are not - like closing out a business, which is only in the interview.
Basicly, it's pretty good, and I no longer find obvious bugs.
What's great about it: very complete
What's not so great: NH State process a bit awkward
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Very helpful
What's not so great: Doesn't hold onto the answers from previous entries when going into sections multiple times.

Need to put a bullet list of what items are coming up. That way you don't have to go back and change where you put a number.
What's great about it: The lay out of items.
What's not so great: Not knowing what was next.

One Major Problem Area-State Tax Entry
on April 14, 2014

Have used TurboTax for years and generally find it to be worth the money. However, this year's transfer of information from my 2012 return correctly put the amount in the question/answer worksheet, but did not carry this over to the final 1040. Judging by the number of queries about this, it seems to be an unresolved problem, not a matter of misunderstanding the state tax calculation. The workaround to enter the correct amount in the worksheet is not a problem--it's the transfer of the information to the final return that is. If I'm audited, it's on TurboTax'es dime, so to speak!
What's great about it: None
What's not so great: Unable to override TurboTax and manually enter the correct amount for state tax refund on line 10 of the 1040.
