What's great about it: great step-by-step
What's not so great: comparison with 2012 amounts not always handy

Pretty easy, but it does take time

The format of data entry does not work well for continuing education credit. It could be more specific for the different types of credtis,
What's great about it: It transferred most info from last years info
What's not so great: There are some things that dont fit the format and tryng to get the info into the data is challenging

I have used Turbo Tax for the last 7 years and have never had a problem. Everything is very thorough and easily explained.
What's great about it: Don't need accountant for filing taxes
What's not so great: None that were an issue

Tough doing Comerica Trust

Still Easy

I have been using TurboTax for years and have found no reason to change. Though my income situation has changed from a single with wages and minimal investment income to a married business owner with investment and royalty income I can still do my own taxes and feel confident I am paying the government only what I owe.
What's great about it: Easly guided me through the whole mess
What's not so great: It can't tell me when I make a mistake

Worked, but with Problems

Everything worked like it should have until it came down to actually filing my returns. After trial after trial, and endless messages saying "transmission failed" to send my files...it kept telling me to update to new version, but there wasn't a newer version. I had already done that. So i had to restart my computer praying all my stuff wasn't lost, before I was able to actually successfully file this return. Way lame.
What's great about it: Didn't have to hire tax professional
What's not so great: had to restart computer in order to transmit files

When you finish entering information in a section I would like the screen to return to the next section so I don't have to scroll down.

A little Dissapointed

over all turbo tax has been the best, and i have used it for years, every year. I have had some problems getting answers to how to handle some items and that has been a little discouraging, but this year as an Ohio small business owner and the new tax deduction made available, needed to have a lot of guidance and Turbo Tax failed miserably in helping there. I hope next year this is corrected.
What's great about it: a large time saver : helpful in asking about things that might have been missed.
What's not so great: no real help with getting answers to how to handle certain items: hard to go back and forth through items for changes
