The same as it ever was

The software caused windows to shut down a couple times, But no data was lost. Continues to be the ONLY way to do taxes for me!!!
What's great about it: very efficient using Turbo Tax
What's not so great: Had problems deleting empty K-1 Forms 1120S

I have used ProSeries for twenty years. This product is much harder to use for someone used to ProSeries.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

State is so automatic that you cannot get into to look at what it is doing till finished.
What's great about it: basickly good with problems in printing state
What's not so great: Stae extention payment not reflected in final state product

Keep it simple and professional

Often the program does not prompt for certain things (i.e. estimated taxes) and makes changes very difficult (handling of depreciation).
What's great about it: Affordable.
What's not so great: Constant changes in entry format.

Good for filing for ex-pats

I found out I had to file to forms 1112 for active and passive income and it was not easy to file and sort those out.
What's great about it: Forms available for filing online
What's not so great: Some challenges with form 1112

2013 Fed Tax Turbo Tax style

Absolutely fantastic product, I hand enter everything and still love the step by step tutorial style and ability to research why and the law.
Quicken needs to help their users on identifying the proper tax related links to make data transfer easy and accurate.

I filed my returns on 4/14/14 and had no response and the tax money wasn't taken by the Fed and State. When I went back into turbo tax it said I hadn't filed. What's up with that?
