Too far to much time. Perhaps allow client to go directly to a form, Difficult to find deductions for home child care deduction.

Complicated Tax Prep Made Easy

My family has multiple W2s, multiple self-owned businesses, kids and a house, so Turbo Tax helps keep us get through everything and usually rewards us with a sizable deduction. We are confident in the product and have used it for many years now. We appreciate that it cooperates with It's Deductible.com. An improvement might be for the program to remember which sections are applicable year after year and ask an overall question if that section applies rather than answering each specific question with a "no" every year (we don't own a farm or have foreign taxes for example). We'll continue to use the product for the foreseeable future.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate, easy to understand, refund amount tracker up on top
What's not so great: Sometimes a lot of inapplicable questions

Escellent program, even at 94, your instructions and answering your questions are easy to follow. . I am using TurboTax since its inception. Before I prepared my own returns. It is a terrific help, as we enter the senior years; all we have to do is to enter the correct numbers without having to make calculations. Before filing, I review my entries to be sure that there are no typos.

Suggestion for Charitable Deductions

Please alphabetize the list of institutions getting charitable deductions. Its great to have the list from the previous year, but its hard to go through this year's deductions and line them up with the list from last year when the order is arbitrary.
