Good job

The normal part of my return was simple to work through — but it was simple. The additional work on the Schedule C for self-employment wasn't intuitive and the software didn't lead it into me well.
What's great about it: Good user interface
What's not so great: Doesn't deal with exceptions well

Consistent Excellence Year After Year

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. It is consistently excellent and I've been very pleased with the refunds we've received. We've never had an audit, but with Audit Defense we feel secure.
I like walking through each area because it helps me consider tax items, which I may not have thought would apply to me, but do.
Very convenient. Easy to stop and come back to where I left off.
What's great about it: Easy to use, questions cover all tax areas for me to consider, not just the areas I think apply

Vigilance on Our Refund

This is our 6th year using Turbo Tax. It has truly gotten better each year at guiding us thru the taxation jungle. There are a few select places that are littered with IRS jargon, but again over all its improved each year. Right now the only thing that I see that could be enhanced upon is the “search” feature while in the programming itself.
What's great about it: Loaded program super easy with step by step all the way thru
What's not so great: At some points there was still IRS taxation jargon
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Finally Got it Done Thanks to Turbo Tax!

Turbo Tax is the way to go. I can do my taxes by myself and save a lot of time and money. I can also learn a lot and help others. It was hard to get answers but all in all, I got my taxes done thanks to Turbo Tax.

On the review of the schedule C, it did not suggest what to do with a lose. I had to choose between full loss or partial lose.
