Great TurboTax Experience

This time using TurboTax seemed better then ever. By pulling in info from last year's return it eliminated a lot of additional typing. The application also seemed to run faster than last year's version.

TurboTax made tax return preparation a lot easier.

Just finished my 2013 tax returns, and TurboTax made the process a lot faster and easier, and assured me nothing was missed. We have W-2, business and rental income & expenses, and TurboTax guided me through every step. Our 2012 returns were also prepared using TurboTax and the carry-forward of information helped speed preparation of the 2013 returns. I recommend TurboTax.
What's great about it: Step by step process covers everthing
What's not so great: Nothing -- TurboTax worked great.

I've used it for 10 years, so you're doing something right. But that said, I continue to be baffled and concerned for the future that the actual TurboTax file from 2012 did not properly save itself. That file still shows only partly completed, and yet it would have had to have been saved in order to e-file. Fortunately I had the pdf file to refer to, but key data didn't transfer to my 2013 return, which meant it took longer to do my return this year than it should have.
What's great about it: good solid performance year after year
What's not so great: problem with unsaved file from previous year

I might have skipped it but usually it will ask if did a major purchase as I did buy a new car and had to hunt to find sales tax in order to enter the amt with reduces taxes owed a lot.
What's great about it: History transfer
What's not so great: Didn't cover sales tax or ask about new car purchase

I found Turbo Tax easy to use. Since I am not very accounting savvy, too many questions causes confusion. But I survived. As a matter of fact, I have been using Turbo tax for the last 5 years without any problems.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Too many questions and sometimes causes confusion

not happy with update process

In all the years that I have used your product, I have NEVER had to log out of my identity (where the product was installed) and had to log into the administrative identity to have a simple update done to the program.
It wasn't the fault of your program, but in doing so it crashed my computer and made me have to take it in to have my memory chips replaced.
What's great about it: helped me keep on track with entering all my info
