desktop vs online

online is easiest if you don't have anything complecated
What's great about it: desktop allows you to go into forms and add or delete
What's not so great: desktop had more errors that came form questions I wasn't asked

A Complex Task in No Time Flat

My taxes usually require an entire weekend to complete (at least 16 hours). I completed my Federal and State Taxes in less than two hours. Online help was very good. I look forward to using Turbo Tax again.
What's great about it: Simplicity

A Great Help

I have been a happy TurboTax user for years. Now that I am retired and different types of income I find it even more useful.
What's great about it: As a retired educator now consulting it helped me greatly in figuring out how to claim my income and expenses.
What's not so great: Not every situation can be anticipated but even then there was much online help.

Taxtime Easier

All in all this is a great program! I found it difficult to return to areas (forgot a couple deductions) without having to go through the entire question area (specifically home office).
What's great about it: Nice walkthroughs, orderly
What's not so great: Not easy to find place to return if deduction forgotten
Pros: I bought or sold investments

2014 Turbo Tax experiance

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. It is very completed, however, some understanding of tax code is helpful in getting the max credit you are entitled to.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Could ask additional questions for additional refunds
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Pleasant Process

I have been filing with Turbo Tax for many years. Each year has gotten easier. More data is transferred from prior year's return. Also, enhancements take advantage of current electronic features. Great job!!
What's great about it: Ease of moving through returns.
What's not so great: None of note.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
