Federal and 2 state return were a snap.
What's great about it: Turbo tax routes me thru the precise forms that are pertinent to my situation and avoids all others
What's not so great: Extra state filing fee should have been included in filing expenses
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Transfers information from past years and financial institutions well. Like easy guide or to be able to do it on my own Don't like to have to re-enter information every time I review a section. Why not keep my answers and let me change info if I want to. Pa state is cumbersome because it's not broken into sections like federal. Pa state - help with figuring NRH is clearer.
What's great about it: Switch between easy guide and forms easily, in federal can do it my way
What's not so great: Pa state can't go to individual topics must go through whole return to get to one section

Still the best, but issues

I have used TT forever and until this year it has gotten better. When filing today, I needed to close and open the program to efile. Also, it gave me a bogus error on business mileage. Makes me a little nervous if I found these simple issues.
What's great about it: tutorial, input help
What's not so great: I found a few flaws.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

In OHIO you gave me a number for allocation adjustment that didn't jive with any other number. You should show me how/where that number was calculated!
What's great about it: I'm getting usewd to it.
What's not so great: SHOW ME HOW YOU GOT A(ll) NUMBER

I've used Turbo Tax for more than 20 years, business version for more than 6 years and have never had a problem with my taxes, nor any family member I've done. I'll continue next year too with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Reliable user interface, familiar to Turbo Tax users
What's not so great: Sometimes difficult to find quick answers

I received prompt and helpful advise from an Intuit Tax Advisor regarding an uncommon tax question that was pretty difficult. I received easy step by step instructions emailed to me from the advisor.
What's great about it: Speaking with a Tax Advisor
What's not so great: Doing Taxes

Once you TurboTax, don't ever go back!

I love this product. I did tax returns for a living years ago...got so burned out I let CPA's do my taxes for a dozen years. It was expensive and I had to review their work to find THEIR mistakes! I began using TurboTax 4 or 5 years ago and, although it takes me a bit of time to input the data, I am more confident that my taxes are right and I'm getting my best tax results. As long as I am able to enter data, I will never go back to a "professional" tax person. That being said...TurboTax, will you, please, provide an understandable explanation for how to arrive at the "adjusted basis" of a car?!
What's great about it: Easy to use...and reminds me of every possible tax break.
What's not so great: Difficult/irregular calculations are not explained. :-(
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
