Impressive importation of taxable data

For last 8+ years TT has allowed me to obtain what seems to be a greater refund then what I got preparing other forms of preparation.
Also the level of person service and advice was of the highest level
What's great about it: constant checking of information
What's not so great: sign in time from TT icon could be a little shorter

Sure saves time and avoids math errors. Covers almost anything that comes up. Has all the forms. Great help.
What's great about it: helps a lot with one time situations
What's not so great: not always clear when and where to enter data
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax Comes Through

Simple and comprehensive

I had a relatively complicated return this year with part-year residences in two states, investment and pension income, and self-employment income. TurboTax was a delight to use as it walked me through all of the applicable issues. Since I have used TurboTax in the past, all of the necessary information was transferred automatically. Things could not have been easier.
What's great about it: Easily dealt with part-year residency in two states
What's not so great: All was good
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

Good program, but can be a bit confusing at times. Be sure to go back and double-check your results before filing.

The software was confused with my 529 information and had a $23,000 distribution when there was no distribution
What's great about it: Made life generally simpler
What's not so great: Software made some mistakes that I was able to correct.
