This is a review more for the turbo tax team than for consumers. You need to make it easier to go back into the program and continue or change your return without walking through all the steps. Anytime I needed to change something in the home office deduction, it walked me through all the questions again which was quite annoying. Also every time I started the program it wanted me to re-register. I wanted to change the amount of my returns to be applied to next year, but it was very difficult to find. I finally managed to get it changed in my federal, but my state return (CA) shows that I have nine additional dollars. I can't get it to be applied to my next year or returned to me, so it shows as an overpayment on the form, but with no instructions on what do do with it.
What's great about it: Easy question and answer format
What's not so great: Hard to change specific things.

It was very hard to finish the tax forms when the error about the dividend boxes that were blank kept coming up as errors

Excellent except for one glaring problem

I have been using TurboTax for I don't know how many years. I was disappointed that you did not get the Ohio Small Business Investor Income Deduction Schedule into the program. It seems to me that all of the numbers are already in the federal and state income tax returns so it should not have been that difficult to write programming. I was also disappointed that the fed/state depreciation adj is not finished by now. I have tried to go to TurboTax website and it says it is done but when I update the software it says I am up to date, but I still get an error message saying that that section needs to be updated to file my state taxes. As a farmer, I need to file by March 1 to avoid late payment penalties. Since that is tomorrow I don't see that happening since you don't have the software fixed. Very disappointing. As much as it will be a pain, I may have to start looking for new tax software.
What's great about it: easy to use, familiar
What's not so great: no small business investor income deduction for ohio, fed/state depreciaion adj not finished

I am so glad that I bought this software early enough to take my time to go through it carefully, review, and understand this process of filing taxes! I feel confident that it was done correctly, even though this is my first time filing my time filing my taxes by myself! Thank you, Intuit, for Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Extremely User Friendly!
What's not so great: Had trouble finding questions again after I had been asked but passed by them the first time.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
