When updates are available, I click OK, if the computer doesn't respond, I click it again. The update it then cancelled. Move the cancel button so it is not in the same place as the OK button. That will prevent this from happening.

Turbo Tax needs a little work

I used Home and Business version as I have small farm business as well as a source of W-2 income. When figuring 179 expense for my farm account, Turbo Tax incorrectly used my separate non-business W-2 wages in addition to my farm income to determine the income limitation for 179 allowable depreciation expense. I was able to talk with one of your help people but took an hour on the phone to resolve the issue buy overiding a calculation sheet. I am not being critical of the help person as she was very curteous and doing the best she could. You need to review how the program calculates income limitation for 179 expense determination.
What's great about it: Fairly straight forward and easy to use
What's not so great: Some of your calculations were not correct

TurboTax is an excellent software program that is user friendly making the process of doing taxes less stressful.
What's great about it: Easy To Navigate
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

A Perfect "Do It Yourself" Option

Overall, TurboTax is the perfect tool for those who prefer to handle their own taxes. As a business owner, I appreciated the ease of entering all business as well as personal income data. Very user friendly, and very comprehensive.
What's great about it: Easy to Follow Instructions, Comprehensive Tools
What's not so great: Not as easy as previous years' versions to navigate to specific locations when working on taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Made It Easy

I'd like to put something negative about Turbo Tax, but I really can not think of anything. I had a farm for years and before using Turbo Tax it was such a chore making sure we had all the right forms filled out and didn't miss deductions. Then there were all the calculations. Of course then came the worry over whether it was done correctly. Turbo Tax takes care of all that.
What's great about it: Used Turbo Tax for years. Does all the calculatios and forms that used to take hours
What's not so great: Can't think of any at the moment

Whew! I'm done!

Filling in the forms and understanding how to do it correctly, after adding a 2nd state with income, was a difficult process to follow.
What's great about it: Automatic filling in of info is fantastic!!
What's not so great: 2nd state taxes was a complex process

Turbo Tax has been my choice for tax preparation since last century.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Clear simple questions.
What's not so great: Didn't transfer all of last years data to this year.
