GETS BETTER, FASTER, AND EASIER EVERY YEAR

AS THE TITLE INDICATES, TURBO TAX SOFTWARE MAKES IT EASIER AND FASTER TO DO BOTH FEDERAL AND STATE INCOME TAXES ------ AND THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE OF DOING TAXES GETS BETTER EVERY YEAR THANKS TO TURBO TAX. THANKS !
What's great about it: DATA TRANSFERS FROM ONE YEAR TO THE NEXT
What's not so great: STATE TAX QUESTIONS WERE NOT CLEAR

File at a snails pace. Only kidding (a little)

Overall I thought this program was ok. Each time I returned to the program, the start-up time was quite tedious (very slow). Also, the program had difficulty accepting some of the entries on the city forms. This was a little annoying.
What's great about it: Walk through - step by step - was fairlly easy to follow
What's not so great: Program loaded very slowly and some of the screens seemed redundant.

Great product....however....

Turbo Tax found & imported my last year's tax return, which speeds things up considerably, however, it brought over the incorrect amount for a state refund from 2012 return. It said I received a refund of $47, when it actually was for $269. The 2012 return showed the larger amount as did the 1099G, so I had to override the entry. People not paying attention could have to answer questions later.
What's great about it: easy to navigate, great explanations
What's not so great: a glitch...have never seen one in 15-20 years I've used Turbo Tax

Overall, I like it a lot and every time that I can, I strongly recommend the use of Turbotax
What's great about it: It's very friendly software
What's not so great: Some times the back button takes me way back, not to the previous window
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Another excellent Turbo Tax experience!

I started working as a Baseball Umpire in the spring and summer in 2013. I had to deal with a 1099-Misc which was new for me. I did not want to go through all the vehicle information, as I only needed to enter my work mileage. I did not want to miss anything, so I went through every screen. Now that I have done the Business program once I will hopefully be able to get through it quicker next year.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate through program.
What's not so great: Many extra steps for business part.
