did not explain well when problem area identified. self employment issues especially concerning retirement plan and deduction questions. very disappointed in these areas.
What's great about it: good for simple areas
What's not so great: poor for special aeas and did not give much explanation

I have been using TurboTax since 1985. The current version is clean, simple, and generally intuitive. Current law must be the culprit for all the legalese to plow through to file electronically.
After finishing input in the evening - I decided to transmit the following day - lucky I did. One hour was spent making entries and cross checking all data for E-Filing.
Still - a great program -thank you for all your work. W.A.
What's great about it: Excellent transition back and forth form 'easy step' to 'forms'
What's not so great: Not obvious to me that I had to right click to bring up itemized list.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

TurboTax is really easy

I have been using TurboTax for years now. They have really cleaned the program up from the early days and is a real joy to work with. I especially like the easy guide process, the import from last year's return feature, the ability to go straight to a form, free e-file, and lesser needed options like amend a return, W-4 calculation, file an extension, etc.
I switched over from another tax preparation product and can't imagine switching to something else.
What's great about it: Walks you through the entire process quickly and easily
What's not so great: TurboTax covers too much...but that is what makes it great

2013 Income Tax Preparation Software

An excellent service. It would be very difficult to keep up with all the tax law changes without this service.
What's great about it: User friendly, efficient and accurate
What's not so great: A little clumsy with the late arriving forms updates.

Multi Year Turbo Tax user

2013 is the easiest version yet. I've been a TT user for a number of year, one year I used another product but came back to TT.
What's great about it: EASE of Use
What's not so great: Would like more tax analysis, like old comparison of avg tax per income
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Easy Peasy

This was my first experience doing my own tax return. Had relied on a CPA for years, which was very expensive. Was a little apprehensive but TurboTax walked me right through it. Had used the product before to file my sons which was just a simple 1040. Even doing our own including my husband's small business it wasn't much more difficult. Was well pleased with the product and the results. Will use again!
What's great about it: Easy to use. Questions were simple to understand and answer.
What's not so great: None

Best Tax Software Anywhere

Software is very complete and updates are available during usage.
What's great about it: Covers all areas of tax return with great accuracy
What's not so great: Price of product needs to be lowered so lower income users can afford it.
