like my refund

I have used Turbo tax for almost 16 years and every year it meets my needs and really works well, so the only thing I found that wasn't easy to use this year was in the error check and going over the errors I had no way to look up the error and what it meant so I was confused with the answer I put in....which was why I initially left blank in the original field not enough explanation as to what the Feds where asking on vehicle as one was totaled causing a lose to replace vehicle.... other wise always happy to use Turbo tax
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: no expaination with errors hard to understand what my answer should be
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

have used turbo tax since 2010. no complaints or audits! easy and clear to use. I dread taxes but at least its bearable with great tax software!
What's great about it: makes daunting task easy and cheaper then taking them in

It's good, but a bit confusing in a few places

I've used TurboTax since way back when it was MacInTax, 1992 or so. I'm self employed and use my vehicles in my work, but this year for some reason, I couldn't find how to go back and make a mileage correction. I just guessed at mileage so I could move on with working on tax, thinking I could easily get back and enter the actual mileage, but I couldn't get back to that place. TurboTax also created TWO home office forms for some weird reason! I had to figure out which one to delete. The way the questions were in the interview, it made me think I had not already done the Form 8889 (or whatever home office form is). Overall, it's a decent tax program. But, I always check the competition, which is getting better too!
What's great about it: Simple, does the job
What's not so great: Caused me to create TWO forms by not being clear

Love this product! It makes tax time go smoothly for our household. I love the dashboard that tells you what your refund is adding up to.
What's great about it: Easy to use, walks you through confusing tax rules with ease! Especially my small business.

A Family Resource

Have used Turbo Tax for many years to prepare tax returns for the whole family and the family business. Turbo Tax is very very easy to use, expecially when allowing Turbo Tax to guide you through the process. At the end you get a reviw to double check the entries and notification when additional data is required. After completion, you get some indication of audit potential. It gives you a feeling of comfort that you got it right.
What's great about it: Excellent hand-holding with very detailed help guidance.
What's not so great: Imported date from Quickbooks requires extensive editing.

Hate taxes but TT makes it less painful!

I have been using TT for as long as I can remember, it is my go to every year! I can't imagine doing it without TT.
What's great about it: Importing tax forms, easy flow, good options
What's not so great: Not all state tax calculations completed
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Smooth as usual

Good experience as it has for the past 5 years plus I've been filing my taxes this way- thank you.
What's great about it: You all make the step by step process so easy!
What's not so great: Having to pay extra to efile the State taxes.
