Used Quick books in past, currently use Quicken for years, used turbo-tax for approx 18 years. Great job at walking me through the tax forms. I always use the step by step process in case I miss anything. It makes a relatively easy job out of a potentially difficult task of preparing and submitting yearly taxes.
I plan on continuing to use Turbo Tax .

Nice and easy, even with a schedule C filing

For the first time in several years we had to submit a schedule C, so rather than the premium version, now the Home & Business. Even so, filing was a snap. Every year Intuit makes it easier to file and your confidence rises that you are doing things correctly. Kudos to Intuit for a fine product.
What's great about it: step by step procedure allows you to line up all your necessary documents ahead of time. reduces time and paperwork.
What's not so great: no automatic updates when you power up the program.

Longtime fan

I appreciate the ability to complete my tax obligations in the comforts of my own home. In doing so, it allows for easy accessibility to actual records. The free e-file benefit along with payment options for other filings are a plus.
Once again, Turbo Tax gets the job done. Thank you!
What's great about it: Easy to navigate
What's not so great: Not able to print informational pages i.e., home improvement credits
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

After 10 years of using Turbo tax on Windows, I was really disappointed in the problems I encountered on my mac. I couldn't get updates, so I couldn't e-file. Answers were all for Windows

TurboTax Has Come Through Once Again!

My wife and I both work full-time and we also have some condo rental property. Our former Tax Accountant retired a few years ago... so we decided to try TurboTax Home & Business. This is our third year using TurboTax. The product is very thorough and easy to use. We love the built-in tips, compliance reviews, helpful guidance and eFiling ease... we continue to be very pleased with the results and savings. Thank you TurboTax!
What's great about it: Ability to transfer previous tax year details, EasyGuide step-by-step process, Audit Risk indicator, Audit Defense.
What's not so great: Can't think of any Cons.

The program provides step-by-step instructions on how to fill in the fields for each form. If you follow the prompts, it is very user friendly.
What's great about it: Easy to maneuver through the forms.
