Clear and direct

Very good software and I would use again as we have in the past. I like the clarity of the directions and explanations so I can understand what is needed.

Excellent feature-set

Awesome experience using TurboTax Business Software, for the 12th time in a row! I am thrilled with its ever-increasing feature set, modified review process and a beautiful summary every time when we do error-checking.
One stop shop with software and/or online experience.
Time-saver and you don't need to be a CPA to do your own taxes.
What's great about it: Covers all use-cases, provides specific areas to check in the end during the review
What's not so great: Can't think of one
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Overall I rate Turbo Tax quite highly. I will continue to use it in future years and I will recommend others to do the same.
What's great about it: Very Detailed
What's not so great: Difficult to change an entry after you enter it.

I started with the online version will not do that again. If you really need this level of program you will want to see the forms on occasion. Also I had a short sale last year and the online version did not cover this situation. The desk top did not cover it well either but you can access the the right forms and add them to your return. The Turbotax community answers were a life saver. I want to thank those that take the time to add the information that helps the rest of us. I will use this program again
What's great about it: Interview is in simple english, easy to follow, questions were covered well
What's not so great: not so easy to navigate when changes are needed, not all situations covered = fees to efile state are high
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Pretty good software. Fairly expensive, and you get a real hit if you want to e-File your state taxes. Be prepared to pay for the convenience.
What's great about it: Moves you along in a fairly orderly manner.
What's not so great: Still has issues with business returns regarding cost of goods.

Overall had better, easier experience with turbo tax this year. It could be that I am more familiar now with what info is being asked for and how to apply it after using it for 4 years. Explainations could be more detailed with examples that may help me understand the tax code in a simpler, clearer way
What's not so great: Need to have full, detailed list on what can be written off on expenses or link to IRS website

This years TurboTax is the worst ever.
I have used TurboTax For 15 to 20 years and this years was the most confusing yet. If you want to change something or skip it till later it is almost impossible to find. Each subject is devided into several small pages and you can't saa the whole subject while you are still working on it.
My tax situation has not changed in 15 years but this years pages and instructions are the worst by far.

What's great about it: Not much. I can't think of one thing.
What's not so great: the pages are broken and disjointed. The directions are confusing and if you look for help you get a 250 page file

Best tax preparing season ever.

An inexperienced person like myself will find the step-by-step guidance foolproof. My husband and I were able to finish quickly and accurately. Best tax season ever.
What's great about it: Step by Step counseling and ease of deductions.
What's not so great: Don't have any
