How can I be of less risk of audit. Show tell me what causes the IRS to look into my return. What might I change for the next year to prevent audit.

Great program which I would recommend to everyone to simplify tax filing and the audit protection in an additional insurance.

SIMPLE AND QUICK

I have been using this program for many many years. It does not compare with the one I used while with IRS but it is still simple for the layman. My refund this year is quite high and I expect to be audited, but I am sure that all is well based on the effectiveness of Turbo Tax.
I use the program to do the taxes for hundreds of elderly and poor people in my community and the number if IRS letters that we get are always due to some information that the person forgot to bring in to the interview, I do this for free as I have for the past 25 years.
What's great about it: FAMILIARITY WITH THE PROGRAM FROM PREVIOUS YEARS
What's not so great: NONE

Great Program for an Annual Task

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and would recommend this program to any one that chooses to do their own taxes. It has been very helpful even when we do something that is not correct, it reminds us at the end to go back and check. It also saves time from going back to last years returns, you have the numbers right there to see. I love Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Very easy to use and ask you all the right questions to help.
What's not so great: Don't really have any. Program works very easily.

Hard to work with

I spent way too many hours trying to figure out how to make TurboTax do the right thing. TT needs to improve the audit trial information so it is easier to see where numbers come from

Once again Turbo Tax Home and Business helped to make filing our taxes understandable and as easy as possible. The step by step question/dialogue process makes sure that nothing is overlooked. As a homeowner, small business owner, with rental property income and now a child in college, Turbo Tax is invaluable! I feel confident that my return has been correctly completed and thoroughly explained. I appreciate being able to switch to viewing the tax forms during the process as well. As a returning Turbo Tax user, it was great to have all of my personal information already available for loading into this return and to be able to compare against last year's return as I worked. I will definitely buy this product again next year!
