Plowed through anyways!

Here's an example of inflexibility:
When entering 1099-B type information the form itself says :
... Box 1b. This box may be blank if box 6a is checked . If the securities sold were acquired on a variety of date, it may show "MULTIPLE".
However Turbotax allows neither "blank" nor "multiple" ??? and no help accessible on how to proceed?
What's great about it: comprehensive
What's not so great: inflexible
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

As an TurboTax user of many years experience, this year's version had no surprises, good or bad. It's straightforward, with expert help just a click away, and links to information straight from the IRS when needed. I expect I'll be using it again next year.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Interview approach is good start, with ability to go direct to forms for more complex issues.

2013 Tax Returns

This was my first year and I am convinced this is the best and less stressful tax return I have ever completed. Previously I had paid large amounts to CPA, now I can do it on my own. Thanks for a great application.
What's great about it: Very easy to use - love the tutortials
What's not so great: navagation - took a while, but it ended up great.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I have used Turbo Tax for many years with multiple applications concerning tax variables and have found it always right on the money.
What's great about it: Step-by-Step hits every area I need to handle

All in all, TurboTax cannot be beaten for fast, easy, reliable state and federal income tax return preparation and filing. This was my 20th year using the product, and I intend to be back again next year. Keep up the good work, Intuit!
What's great about it: Turbotax covers every element of tax returns, so there's no guessing.
What's not so great: I was not happy to have to pay more to efile my state return!
