I have used TurboTax for several years and more recently the Business addition without too many issues. Best way to do them yourself and keep your records on your computer.
Some glitches this year with info transferring from 2012 return and saying return checks out only to be told at filing something needs fixing, always disconcerting having run through the process 2 times before the filing process.
I would like TurboTax to allow saving options (PDF) without the need to Print a paper copy. The button gives the illusion of choice but only shows printing option first.
What's great about it: Nice Step by Step walkthrough as always.
What's not so great: This year there seemed to be glitches in transferring info from 2012 TurboTax.
when checking my return, i noticed that TT overlooked the long term capital loss carryforward. It got the short term, not the long term. Would like to add 1041 estate info. NOT an Option for TurboTax to complete for simple trusts
What's not so great: Failed to retrieve tax loss carryforward from last year
THE BEST for over 20 yrs! & I've used them ALL!!!!
