Not as good as it used to be

extra items (state or upgrades are VERY costly compared to your original purchase). I have been using Turbo Tax for many many years and this years version seems to be less automated than in the past. Perhaps it is time to consider using another brand next year.
What's great about it: does many of the calculations for you
What's not so great: does ot always transfer data correctly and does not always calculate items for you even when it has all of the necessary

It is the best tax software I have used, I think it is very good at asking the right questions, much better that the tax service I used before doing my own!! Easy enough for most anyone to use.
What's great about it: Ease of use.
What's not so great: Had to pay to file State return

Piece of cake!

This is a great and easy to use program. I have used the Home & Business version for over 5 years. The only complaint I had was that when my investments were downloaded from their site, all were in taxpayers name even though they downloaded under two different id numbers. I don't remember having that issue in previous years. I did appreciate being able to access "it's deductible".
What's great about it: Great directions
What's not so great: deciphering investments

I run a part time business and Turbo tax helps me organize my expenses to get the proper deductions.

Saves my sanity

Really like that it draws info from last years turbo tax to pre-fill and compare data from year to year. Doing taxes at home is much less stressful than going to an accountant. Plus it's quicker and you can take the time you need to gather the info required. We've used Turbo tax on and off through the years, but we're going to stay with them from now on.
What's great about it: Walks you through step by step or you can jump around if you want to
