Not as good as it used to be

I have to take the refund and then come up with the substantial sum due today for my first 1040-V. Turbo tax used to let me put the refund on next year's estimated tax. Previously it gave me that option in the interview, it does not any more. This is a problem. I would like to see in detail auditing potential and what are the flags, I would also like to be able to put my refund onto next year's taxes. My state does not have state income tax. Even after telling Turbo tax what state I was in, it did not stop bugging me to fill out state tax forms...shouldn't there be an if/then loop in the programming to keep it from asking me the same question over and over?
What's great about it: Same overall interview, it seems to be shortened a bit
What's not so great: No longer compared me to previous years or to industry norms. Did not let me put refund on next year's taxes.

Had to make changes

It wasn't as easy as I had hoped. Mostly because of my consulting in another state. I just wish the program had fixed errors instead of having me to it on my own. I also wish that since I used Turbo Tax last year on a different computer it would have just transfered online.
What's great about it: Easy to upload when available
What's not so great: I didn't understand all error messages

TURBO TAX SAVES - Time and $$$'s

I was using Turbo tax for years and went to a CPA to make sure my new taxable interests were completed correctly. I agree with the Intuit commercial (nobody knows your liabilities and interests like you do. Why put all the information together for a CPA, pay high hourly fees only to have them input the numbers and you are still liable for mistakes they may make.
Turbo-tax has great support without consultant fees and you can save your tax return documents PDF style as well as hard copies. Thanks Turbo Tax Team!!!

What's great about it: easy to follow instructions, up to 5 returns, and eFile simplicity. Faster than getting an appointment and huge CPA fees

I have used Turbo Tax since it was first developed. My returns have sometimes been very simple and sometimes very complex but Turbo Tax has always made it simple.

Pretty Smooth Sailing

Once again, worked pretty smoothly. An annoying thing though is that there was a problem with a field containing my job description being too long. This was flagged as an error. I was asked if I wanted to correct it and the form was displayed, however it would not let me type or clear the field to make the correction. The data was being copied over from the federal form, so I went and found that field on the federal form and shortened it there. That finally worked. It was annoying to have to hunt down the field on the federal form and correct it there. The same error occurred last year using Turbo Tax. It should have been fixed by now.
What's great about it: Easy to Use
What's not so great: Doesn't gather your paperwork for you, lol.
