Good job, but . . .

Every year for the past 5 years, I try to use TurboTax to fill in my subcontractor 1099 MISC forms and either the software locks up , gets stuch, or I can't follow the step-by-step instructions and get messed up. This year I ended up printing out and mailing the 1099 MISC forms, YIPPY!, But, they didn't have my employer name, address, nor ID on them. OUCH!
Please put a usability epert to work on 1099 MISC preparation steps.
What's great about it: Guided tax preparation is super. I've used it for years.
What's not so great: Employee W2 and 1099 MISC Prep, NOT Intuitive, Does NOT work well

More confused then ever

The college deductions and the schedule C guided tour left me stranded a few times. I had to manually enter data and go toturbo tax online support a couple times. I don't think it was as good as last year.
What's great about it: The interface is familiar

There are many things in the return preparation which TurboTax handles well and which you do not bother with.
What's great about it: It's all automatic and yet you also have control of the forms
What's not so great: Nothing

Indiana Tax form, I didn't see anywhere to add for refund to go to auto deposit in bank account.

Taxes made easy

I have used Turbo for several years and this is the only tax program I would use, I especially like the easy guide and walk me through everything.
What's great about it: The guides along the way, to help you in case you forget something
