Moving around using the Step by Step Guide

It would be helpful if there was a table of contents for the step by step path so I could jump around to verify stuff without having to keep going back and back and the going through the same questions going forward.
Otherwise this is a great tool. I trust and depend on its' accuracy.
What's not so great: Hard to find a spot that I would like to go back to.

2013 Turbo Tax Home and Business

I filed in late February. Overall, the software was better than filling out the forms by hand. However, the program seems to pause intermittently with no indication of what is going on. There are minor issues (does not affect tax calculation) with business depreciation of assets reporting starting with 2012 that causes you to re-enter prior depreciation values. I also see an issue with the prior depreciation column of the form when the pdf is printed out where the row data is not always placed in the correct row, but this does not affect the tax calculation. Also, sorting the columns on date is not done properly, but this is minor nitpicking. Overall, I will probably use TT next year, but I wouldn't be surprised to see extra work in the depreciation of business assets again. Please fix this.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to get through interviews for business and personal
What's not so great: Business depreciation was more difficult than it should be.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo makes tax time easy! Just start and answer the questions! You're thru before you know it. Just make sure and get the turbo tax that best fits your financial situation! We've used Turbo for years and its so much better for getting your BEST results. Don't pay MORE than you owe!!

What's great about it: complete detail will helpful extra in info to make split allocations easy

Easy Peasy

This is the fifth year in a row that I have used Turbo Tax. Each year gets easier because I now know the format and type of records to keep. I really like that the information can be brought forward from year to year, however I do worry about the information that is kept and security. Great product, and seems to get better each year.

NOT User-friendly

Every year, I design my own worksheet based on the previous year's return: what I entered, when and every year, the order changes! This program does not provide a quick way to get to a certain part/page. Instead, you have to go through the same questions - every time and it is very frustrating!
Also- my Mac did not accept the disk. It kept spitting it out. We had to contact them to download it online. Why couldn't we do that to begin with?!!!!!

I like Turbo Tax a lot. I have used it now to file my taxes for five years and I believe they have made improvements to the system in spite of the many changes to the tax code.
