Get it together!!!!

Have used TurboTax for years and have been pretty happy with it, but something went bad with it this year. The problems I had:
1. You need to design an auto-save capability into the program for every entry (like Quicken). I had my federal form almost completed when I accidentally hit some key (don't know which one) and lost everything--couldn't find it anywhere, so had to start all over--it cost me at least two hours, not to mention the frustration and tedium of re-entry.
2. The first time I entered the data, the program led me to and logically and smoothly through the "home office deduction" procedure (am self-employed and work from an office in my house)--the form 8829 work sheets and entries. After it "crashed" (item 1 above), I re-started the program, at which time it downloaded and installed a number of updates. I COULD NEVER GET BACK TO THE HOME OFFICE DEDUCTION PROCEDURE OR EVEN FIND MENTION OF IT IN THE BUSINESS FORMS AND ENTRIES (like I had the first time through)!!!. I looked high and low for it, trying every avenue to get to it. The only place I could find it was in under "view forms" menu, and then entering the data was difficult, as it wouldn't let me fill in some blanks without leading me to and through one or more other laborious "work sheets". Further, it didn't coordinate the entries with other related forms and entries. WHAT SCREWED UP???????? Am having serious second thoughts about using TT next year--am at least 50% disappointed and frustrated with it this year after this.
What's great about it: Easy to use (but not completely)
What's not so great: Can't manually override entries or get back to certain forms or procedures

It is great to see how taxes are figured and why.
What's great about it: Love the hand-holding guide and explanations of all areas.
What's not so great: You don't pay my taxes for me ;^)

Product Worked
on April 15, 2014

Product works good. Most things are simple and straight forward.
There are a few places where it is very difficult to go to correct place, because it assumes where to go. Example business income assume Sch C forms, and is difficult to get to schedule K1 forms by answering the questions "I have a business......" You need to tell program" No, I do not have business, and then go in later and say I have Sch K..."
What's great about it: Product worked, and most welt real smooth
What's not so great: some times product tries to lead you places you do not want to go, and it is difficult to get to correct place
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
