I have used Turbo Tax for several years. I love the interview process to make certain I don't forget anything. If I need to go back to re-do or re-visit an area, and I can't figure out how to open the file, it's easy to get an answer by googling my question.

I've been using TurboTax for many years. very helpful, asks questions that help explain the why. I've been using the Home & Business primarily. It does what it says it will do, makes it easy
What's great about it: excellent as always
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Excellent overall but mediocre state

The Hawaii State program was difficult because of required input from 2012. Turbo Tax was used for both years but in 2012 the filing was for a partial year. There were no importing or links to the 2012 Turbo Tax file.
I review the Hawaii several times but am still not confident of the calculations.
What's great about it: The Federal and California programs were easy to follow and prompting was excellent.
What's not so great: The Hawaii State program was difficult to follow. Links were sometimes weak.

Harder this year

Some items on home & business did not transfer properly. Had to re enter assets manually, Then last years info showed like it should. There were other minor changes from past years, which is probably to tax law changes. I still think some of the changes might be in programming by Turbo
What's great about it: Used turbo since 1997 so know how it works
What's not so great: Had problems this year

Maximized my Refund

The Turbo Tax software is excellent in that it ask all of the required question to complete ALL of the required forms needed for the completion of the 1040 and ALL of the Schedule Forms and the associated worksheets. I never could have completed this process without Turbo Tax by myself.
What's great about it: Asked all of the right Questions for the maximum refund
What's not so great: No shortcomings in the process of completing my taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Love TurboTax!

I have been using TurboTax for 5 years now, and filing my taxes gets easier ever year! My farm business data is easy to enter, and TurboTax tracks my info year to year. Any new tax categories are super easy to get information about before entering numbers, either through the quick tips or a search on a different form. The review for errors and straight forward e-filing beats any other tax filing method!!!
What's great about it: Easy to find detailed explanations when needed!

I have been using for years. It is one of the best programs for filing your income taxes out there by far! It is very user friendly. It will get you the most refund it possibly can the easiest way it can just by following the instructions. Just click away!

Convenience, Reliability

We have used TurboTax for 14 years running. Filing has generally been conveniently done in the comfort of home. Some years we've gotten refunds, and others we owed tax - either way, we anticipated the result. The automated interview is easy to understand and complete. I'd recommend this software to anyone.
What's great about it: Complete, Accurate
What's not so great: Sometimes a Special Requirement isn't Handled Easily
