The 2013 for Home and Business is the best version yet and I have used TurboTax for decades. Usually, I end up paper filing because of all the donations, this year I had more donations and medical and dreaded snail mailing. I was surprised that even a messy return like mine qualified for e-file.
What's great about it: e-filed even when I had plenty of donations
What's not so great: missing professional development expense category
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
After spending hundreds on tax prepares, I have used Turbo Tax home/business for several years. The program is simple to use and always makes I get all my deductions and everything is in good order. Fire your tax man and do it all yourself.
What's great about it: I have my own business, and Turbo Tax is easy for us.
I find the ease of the self process quite nice as I in fact understand how to do taxes with growing confidence each year... Having the program lead the way is great for first entry of data and the self process can take over after that...
What's great about it: After filing with Turbo Tax for the last 7 or 8 years, I can say that I find myself helping others with turbo tax
